What would your application user do, if he needs to enter in a field the number resulting of (1200+231.50-21.50)*0.22 ? He probably would open a calculator, enter the expression, copy the resulting value, return to your app and paste it into the field.
What about enabling him to solve that issue righ there, in your application?
